Responsibilities

  • Work with HR Centers of Expertise to ensure consistency across the organization and to effectively launch and communicate new initiatives.
  • Ensure consistency in administration of HR policies, procedures, and practices and ensure compliance with all labor and employment laws/regulations.
  • Proactively seek new ways to deliver better business results and effectively lead organizational change.
  • Work with both leaders and associates to provide guidance on associate relations issues and Ameritas policies to promote and develop a positive associate relations environment that is accountable, consistent, and responsive to leadership and associate needs.
  • Strategize and collaborate with leaders in the effective implementation of "people programs" such as recruitment, onboarding, learning & development, inclusion & diversity, performance management, associate relations, and more.
  • Provide coaching and support to leaders regarding organizational policies, procedures, and communication of key initiatives to support overall operational effectiveness and performance.
  • Understand business goals and recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in business objectives, productivity, and development of people resources within the company.
  • Partner with leadership to assess leadership capability, development, succession planning, and retention.
  • Identify training solutions for teams and associates.
