Responsibilities

  • Develop and sustain positive partnerships across the organization to provide HR services that support the achievement of the business objectives of the organization
  • Maintain a high level of business acumen about the business unit’s core function, financial position, mid-range plans, culture and goals.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to curate a strong, diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplace.
  • Gather insights from business unit trends and metrics to create solutions, programs and policies that enhance HR’s role in achieving organizational objectives
  • Partner with the business unit to assess and effectively address human resources needs in organizational design, performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, compensation, and career, and leadership development
  • Identify knowledge gaps, causes, develop solutions and share findings with other HR teams to craft best practices.
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase efficiency and retention
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues
  • Offer performance management guidance to leaders (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary/corrective actions)
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, appropriately reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Collaborate with legal department, and labor relations as needed/required
  • Provide HR guidance and interpretation in dealing with employee relations issues
  • Assist leadership in managing talent, performance and compensation processes to develop skills value the business values, and assess their impact on effectiveness
  • Participate in the evaluation and monitoring of training programs success
