Responsibilities

  • Creates and delivers training for field and home office team members on human resources topics and processes
  • Interview potential team members and collaborate with hiring manger to determine the best candidates to hire
  • Work with candidates to ensure timely processing of documentation and on-boarding procedures.
  • Process Workday transactions in a timely manner
  • Ensure compliance and completion of new hire paperwork, including I-9’s and company and department specific forms
  • Serve as a liaison between company field locations and the corporate home office on a range of compliance matters
  • Manage relationship with Background and Drug testing vendor.
  • Initiate and facilitate drug testing in accordance with Interstate policies
  • Serve as the contact person for various external inquiries, such as unemployment matters, subpoena requests, employment confirmations and lender confirmations.
  • Manage the Department of Labor posting requirements for all Enterprise-wide locations.
  • Diligently stay aware of relevant compliance issues affecting the industry and recommend and implement changes to internal company processes as needed
  • Serve as custodian for designated team member personnel files
  • Provide, when necessary, support to the Talent Group in various functions
  • Provide periodic updates to leadership on status of various responsibilities
