Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred
  • One to three years of Human Resources experience preferred
  • SHRM or HRCI certification preferred
  • Retirement/Private Wealth industry experience preferred, but not required
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential job duties and responsibilities
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems and other recruiting related technologies
  • Ability to attract passive candidates and build proactive pipelines through cold calling and networking
  • Knowledge of or ability to research various human resource issues/laws
  • Ability to develop and build strong professional relationships
  • Strong research and project management skills
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and handle multiple work assignments
  • Must have a strong sense of urgency
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively with diverse groups including coworkers, employees, applicants and various business contacts at various levels ranging from entry level employees to senior executives
  • Ability to work effectively in a team setting
  • Must be a self-starter who can initiate projects and move them forward.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, follow up skills and attention to detail
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Teams, Excel and PowerPoint, and other professional software (e.g., HR systems, databases, Zoom, One Drive etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Develop a strong understanding and appreciation of the organization’s structure, culture and objectives in order to administer human resources programs and processes
  • Work as a trusted advisor and business partner providing consultative recruitment services, consistent communication and timely follow-through on commitments to hiring managers
  • Directly source candidates, screen resumes, perform screening interviews and refer qualified candidates for to hiring managers
  • Assist with the development of policies and programs to attract, retain and promote a diverse work force for the organization
  • Maintain and increase pipeline of candidates by sourcing, to include job postings, recruiting databases, internet research and specialized sourcing methods
  • Facilitate onboarding to foster a positive attitude toward organizational objectives and integration to our team
  • Recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to continually improve efficiency of the department and services performed specifically related to recruitment and onboarding, engagement, and retention
  • Assist with the management and entry of tasks within the human capital management system (Workday) such as position creation, employee termination, job changes, and other related transactions as may be assigned
  • File electronic copies of employee onboarding documentation and correspondence in the appropriate file management system (i.e., Workday, SharePoint)
  • Ensure that all human resources practices follow regulatory and legal requirements, company standards and values
  • Collaborate with HUB HR team and RPW managers to drive employee initiatives in recruiting and employee experience.
  • Successfully manage multiple competing priorities and simultaneous requisitions with aggressive timelines
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the HR Director.
