Responsibilities

  • Prepares and maintains HR records and related information.
  • Assists in creating hiring requisitions, prescreening, scheduling interviews.
  • Creates employee records in Ceridian and maintains employee updates.
  • Highly familiar with I-9 process and retention.
  • Assigns training modules for all new hires and employees with expired modules.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with HR policies and processes. Maintains a high level of confidentiality in all HR/Payroll related information.
  • Attends job fairs, and any other HR related meetings as assigned by HR manager.
  • Assist employees and managers in completing processes, ensuring work is completed with accuracy and submitted in a timely manner.
  • Prepares HR related reporting on salary, time keeping, and any other HR or payroll related reporting.
  • Assists in maintaining volunteer database, posting volunteer opportunities, maintaining reports on volunteer hours. Assist with volunteer communications for managers and KROC/Salvation Army projects.
  • Maintains and grows relationships with local businesses, probation offices, schools and other entities for which large groups volunteer.
  • Assists the HR manager in performing other duties, special project and volunteer opportunities as assigned.
