  • The Human Resources Associate is responsible for HR operations and administrative duties.The HR Associate will work closely with the HR Lead, colleagues and people managers in all areas of HR, including but not limited to: recruitment, colleague engagement, wellbeing, payroll, colleague data, terminations, health and safety, compliance, etc.
  • Handle day to day HR queries and ensure smooth operations of the HR department.
  • Provide consultancy and training on HR policies and Practices
  • Full Recruitment and onboarding function
  • advertising, shortlisting, screening, interview, reference and backround checking, appointment, onboarding, induction training, etc.
  • Benefits administration – serve a point of contact with external benefit vendors and employees.
  • Review and update HR Policies and Procedures.
  • Update Organogram as staff changes occur.
  • Compiling and prepare HR reports including compliance reports; Quarterly StatsSA, WSP&ATR, Employment Equity, COIDA.
  • File maintenance- maintaining digital and physical files of employee including regular file audits.
  • Leave management
  • Compiling payroll input data
  • Terminations administration- complete termination process, paper work, benefits, etc, arrange and conduct exit interviews
  • Employee confirmation letters.
  • Internal staff communication (HR Matters).
  • IR administration
  • Facilitate Internship program
  • Member of H&S Committee and responsible for administration
  • Member of DEI Committee and support with all DEI functions
