  • Provides information on required documents for I-9 compliance.
  • Oversees front end processing of all drug tests, background screening and TB tests.
  • Follows up in Vetty to ensure applicants are meeting the deadline prior to hire date.
  • Processes new hire in Workday accurately and timely.
  • Provides new hires with relevant information on I am the U Orientation. Completes the I-9 in Workday for newly hired employees.
  • Provides support to HRSS Manager with special projects and audits.
  • Serve as back up for the front desk.
  • Supports department and employees by phone, email and walk in.
  • Compiles and records employee information, such as personal data; compensation, job data in applicable system.
  • Transfers data from paper formats into computer files or database systems.
  • Examines employee files to answer inquiries and provides information to authorized persons.
  • Computes wages and records data for use in payroll processing.
  • Verifies data by comparing it to source documents.
  • Retrieves data from the database or electronic files as requested.
  • Follows-up and troubleshoots questions for data integrity.
  • Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.
