What are the working hours for the Imaging Assistant role?
The working hours for the Imaging Assistant role are between 8am and midnight, and you will be required to work shifts as our service runs 7 days a week/365 days a year.
Is previous healthcare experience necessary for this position?
Previous healthcare experience is desirable but not essential; we will provide a full induction and training to carry out your duties.
Where will I be working as an Imaging Assistant?
You will be working in the CT and X-ray departments, covering our sites at QMC, City Hospital, and the Treatment Centre, and also potentially at the new Community Diagnostic Centre in the centre of Nottingham.
What kind of patient care activities will I be involved in?
As an Imaging Assistant, you will perform caring activities such as greeting patients, preparing them for examinations, ensuring their needs, privacy, and dignity are met, and assisting the clinical team in delivering high standards of care.
Is this position part of a rotation schedule?
Yes, you will join a rotation that covers our departments at QMC, City Hospital, and the Treatment Centre.
