Requirements

Essential:
Full-stack Development: Proficiency in full-stack development, with expertise in Python or Java backend and JavaScript/TypeScript frontend, or full-stack JavaScript/TypeScript
Prototype Engineering: Strong experience in developing early-stage prototypes and advancing them through alpha and beta testing phases
Strategic Planning: Ability to contribute to strategic planning with a focus on leveraging technology for business innovation and growth
Project Leadership: Demonstrated leadership in managing cross-functional projects, particularly in R&D and innovation-focused initiatives
Collaborative Skills: Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to integrate technology solutions
Change Management: Experience in managing the transition of R&D projects into production, working with change and delivery teams to align with business processes
Project Lifecycle Management: Familiarity with managing the full lifecycle of software development projects, including design, prototyping, testing, and deployment
Ethical Technology: Commitment to ethical technology practices and experience in advocating for responsible innovation
Desirable:
Emerging Technologies: Familiarity with emerging technologies, especially in the context of financial services
Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the fintech industry, including trends, challenges, and regulatory environment

Responsibilities

Prototype Development: Craft prototypes to experiment with new ideas and assess their potential impact for stakeholders and customers, driving the exploration of innovative concepts
Alpha and Beta Prototyping: Advance prototypes to alpha and beta stages, where required, to refine functionality and gather user feedback for further iterations
Technology Integration: Collaborate with various teams to seamlessly integrate innovative technologies that enhance business processes and customer interactions, ensuring that solutions are scalable and sustainable
Innovation and R&D Leadership: Cultivate a culture of inclusive innovation by inviting team members from different departments in 'ii/x lab' projects. Lead innovation, R&D, and ii/x labs experiments from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with innovation goals and actionable outcomes
Strategic Planning and Alignment: Actively contribute to strategic planning sessions, providing technological insights to shape the company's future direction. Ensure all innovation activities align with interactive investor's strategic objectives to drive company growth within the fintech sector
Cross-vertical Collaboration: Engage with all Data and Innovation team verticals, promoting a holistic and diverse approach to innovation, ensuring that projects benefit from a wide range of expertise and perspectives
Transition and Change Management: Oversee the progression of innovation projects from R&D to production, collaborating with Change and Delivery teams to future-proof outcomes and prepare them for established delivery processes
Ethical Technology Advocacy: Champion ethical standards in all innovation projects, advocating for responsible technological development and establishing guidelines for best practices
