Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a virtual systems engineering support team to provide services to accelerate and advance opportunities through the technical validation cycle.
  • Architect solutions built on the Commvault solution aimed at solving technical, business, operational, and financial issues.
  • Propose and demonstrate the Commvault suite of products through the use of remote demos, whiteboard, presentations, etc.
  • Assist with the education of inside sales and partner sales/SEs on general IT concepts related to data management and storage.
  • Work with Commvault’s internal systems and databases to ensure pertinent customer sales, environment, and contact data is captured.
  • Develop specific areas of expertise in complementary technologies (e.g., virtualization, storage infrastructure, deduplication) in addition to maintaining broad core product skills. Participate in internal and 3rd party training opportunities.
  • Work with internal departments (sales, support, marketing, development), as appropriate, to ensure success during sales campaigns and/or to ensure the customer experience is extremely positive.
  • Assist with the development of toolkits and systems to facilitate knowledge transfer and efficiency.
