  • 5+ years of experience in benefits administration
  • Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) designation (or ability to acquire in the future as part of the career development path), or other similar Benefits certification
  • Experience with Benefit Carrier online systems for benefits administration
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools
  • Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • In-depth knowledge of international health, welfare, and retirement plans and the laws, regulations and compliance requirements associated with each
  • Experience in project management
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and analysis of benefits programs and make recommendations for improvements
  • Manage and administer employee benefits, including health, life, and disability insurance, retirement plans, global time-off policies, including PTO/vacation/sick, leave of absence, and holiday schedules, and other employee benefits (or “like benefits” under each country’s regulatory requirements)
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements and government regulations related to employee benefits (will vary from country-to-country)
  • Communicate effectively with employees, insurance carriers, and other stakeholders to resolve benefits-related issues
  • Develop and maintain detailed records and reports on benefits programs and their costs
  • Stay current on international industry trends and best practices in benefits administration
  • Partner with HR and Finance teams to ensure that benefits programs support company goals and objectives
  • Oversee global renewal, open enrollment processes and benefits communications
