Responsibilities

  • You will be required to work within the NUH Inclusion team providing high quality administrative and clerical support to the Interpreting and Translating Services.
  • You will be responsible for coordinating telephone, email and electronic diary bookings for the NUH interpreting service for non-English and Limited English Speaking patients by allocating freelance and volunteer interpreters to bookings based on set criteria.
  • You will use MS Outlook and Excel to keep an up to date diary and record of interpreting bookings and monitor this to continually assess demand.
  • You will coordinate meetings for the interpreting services manager and take minutes at department meetings if required.
  • You will also provide regular updates to the interpreting manager.
