Responsibilities

  • The rotations will enable the successful candidate to gain valuable exposure across both Equity and Fixed Income asset classes, whilst also gaining experience within other key departments who service the Investment Management floor. The rotation structure will include exposure to some of the following teams:
  • Performance team, understanding performance data and helping prepare key performance reports for review meetings and requests from Head of Equities and Head of Fixed Income.
  • Investment Risk, understanding and application of Investment Risk methodologies and processes within Investment Manager review meetings.
  • Equity Team Exposure – UK Equities, Global Equities, Value, Specialist Equity Teams (Gold & Silver), Sustainable Equities, Emerging Equities and Environmental Solutions.
  • Fixed Income Exposure – Credit Analyst exposure across multiple sectors, support the Investment Director on sales related initiatives and analytical support to the Developed Fixed Income and Emerging Market Debt team.
  • Stewardship & ESG team – providing support to the Stewardship & ESG teams on Jupiter’s engagement with investee companies.

Application Process

  • Phase 1:
  • In order that our selection process is objective and data led, we are inviting candidates to complete an online cognitive assessment (approx. 30 mins).
  • This will focus on your ability to perform in core skills including:
  • Numerical reasoning (ability to make correct decisions or inferences from numerical data)
  • Deductive reasoning (ability to think critically and problem solve)
  • Motivation (assessing your motivation for the industry and role)
  • Cultural add (assessing your cultural fit against the firm’s values and behaviours)
  • Phase 2:
  • Successful candidates will be invited to complete a short video interview that will focus on a mixture of technical and competency based questions.
  • Phase 3:
  • Successful candidates will be invited to two face to face interviews as a final step.
