  • Strong automation, workflow and/or IT hardware/software experience.
  • Understand molecular diagnostic laboratories throughout EMEA.
  • Experience in laboratory informatics.

  • Fluent in English and additional languages are advantageous.
  • Proficient in client facing solutions demonstrations and presentations.
  • Proficient in EXCEL, Power Business Intelligence and Microsoft packages.
  • Understanding of LEAN and or six sigma principles and how they apply to the laboratory and healthcare system.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as subject matter expert and consultant in the following areas: automation, workflow, value analysis, competitor offerings and informatics.
  • Collect and analyse customer data and conduct workflow assessments, develop effective solutions design reports with insights and recommendations and delivering insights to customer.
  • Perform complex analysis such as valuation analyses and total cost of ownership.
  • Support the commercial team formulating customer value propositions which ultimately will drive sales growth, business retention and deliver the annual EMEA sales targets.
  • Utilize high levels of market, competitor and product knowledge when formulating strategic solution design activities.
  • Act as liaison and provides input to marketing, R&D and sales organization for automation, workflow and informatics for product and process development and improvement.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to deliver voice-of-customer feedback to further enhance Abbott’s solutions and offerings.
  • Ability to travel 50% of time.
