Requirements

  • Basic Qualification:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Power Systems, Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing engineering or Bachelor’s degree in Business (BBA/MBA) from an accredited institution, with a graduation date no later than May 2024.
  • Minimum of one internship or co-op experience or relevant prior work experience.
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada on a permanent basis without company sponsorship.
  • This position does not offer relocation.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Engineering with a minor in business.
  • 2-3 prior internship or co-op experiences in a manufacturing/supply chain setting.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience within campus and / or community.
  • Ability to speak a second language (French preferred).
  • Position Criteria:
  • Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills
  • Leadership aptitude and desire to build a career in a manufacturing environment
  • This role may include travel (up to 25%) within a local region as determined by the assignment manager

Responsibilities

  • This is a two-year program that involves three assignments in an Eaton facility that each last 8 months. This position will be based in Greater Toronto Area, Ontario. In an effort to maximize your development, each assignment has the potential to have you placed in three different facilities in Canada during the length of your program.
  • Your assignments will give you multiple opportunities to hone your leadership skills. You will also have the opportunity to interact with and present to Eaton leaders during your assignments. After completion of the program, your experience and newly acquired skills could lead you in a variety of career paths, such as operations, operational excellence, quality, project management, supply chain, front line supervision, or engineering. Long term career opportunities as you advance within Eaton could include roles such as plant manager, general manager, product manager, quality manager, manufacturing project leader or program manager.
