What is the duration of the LED FY2 Doctor position in Medicine at Conquest Hospital?
The position is for a fixed-term period of up to 12 months, with a view to extension.
What is the working schedule for the doctors in this position?
Two doctors will have a one in four weekend rota, while one doctor will work weekdays only.
Is GMC registration required for this position?
Yes, candidates will require full GMC registration.
What type of experience can I expect in this role?
You will gain experience in General Medicine, as the post is based on a 28-bedded acute medicine ward.
What support will I receive while working in this role?
You will receive support from a daily consultant ward round and regular input from specialists, in addition to an active structured teaching programme and an induction day.
Will I have opportunities for personal development?
Yes, you will be encouraged to maintain a Personal Development Plan to demonstrate that all F2 competencies have been achieved during your time in this post.
