Requirements

  • Extensive logistic engineering/Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) technical experience
  • A relevant qualification and demonstrated knowledge of Logistics Support Analysis (LSA)
  • People leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to manage a logistic engineering team and provide effective leadership, direction and motivation to the team
  • Good customer and subcontractor management skills, and the ability to influence and develop effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Resiliency, the ability to adapt to changing project requirements, and a continuous improvement mindset with a solutions focused approach
  • Whilst not essential, experience of delivery within a complex acquisition contract, will be highly regarded

Responsibilities

  • Plan, manage and execute the delivery of logistic engineering and Logistic Support Analysis (LSA) activities
  • Provide leadership to the Logistic Engineering/ILS team, coach and develop personnel, ensuring services provided meet business and customer objectives
  • Provide direction and support to the Logistic Engineering/ILS team in activities including the development of, Failure Mode Effects and Criticality (FMECA) Analysis, Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) Analysis, Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA), Operator Task Analysis (OTA) and Level of Repair Analysis (LORA)
  • Establish effective consultation and communication mechanisms with customers, internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that stakeholders are fully engaged and aware of the logistic engineering strategy, plans, products and service offerings
  • Identify and investigate logistic engineering problems and risks, formulating strategies for their resolution
  • Represent the Logistic Support Analysis team in project and technical review meetings, provide status and progress reports
  • Drive culture of logistic engineering best practice, efficiency and continuous improvement
  • Promote & maintain the integration of Logistic Engineering outputs across the broader ILS team
