Responsibilities

  • Performing time studies, analyzing operations for opportunities for improvement, designing workflows and improving material flow, efficient site and assembly layouts and production processes, reducing inefficiency, and ensuring that final products meet the established quality standards.
  • Facilitating Logistical Engineering and Lean activities within the plant or a portion of the plant.
  • Through implementation of specific action plans, training and advocacy, help to influence the organization to a new culture.
  • Demonstrating success through increased plant operational metrics performance.
  • Using the processes, measurements, standards, and efforts available with the primary focus areas of Industrial Engineering & continuous improvement.

  • Leading the cultural change of JCI employees (from firefighting culture to working according to standards), including leadership teams in their Lean competence development by coordinating the necessary training and coaching, and building internal capabilities.
