Responsibilities

  • Analyze the Chrome extension code by doing extensive Code Reverse Engineering and identifying any
  • Potential Security violations in the Extension – Static and Dynamic analysis
  • Need to well document the Security violations identified along with the suspected code
  • To Take down Malicious extensions from the Webstore
  • Identify new patterns by analyzing the extensions and discuss the same with the Team and update the Team and bring them up to speed
  • Act as Technical consultant to the Team for any clarifications and grooming
  • Create Rules to identify any specific Patterns of Security violations and run a sweep to identify items from webstore
  • Provide additional recommendations to Client on process / automation opportunities to easily identify specific patterns
