What is the primary purpose of this role?
The primary purpose of this role is to drive Mastercard's customer experience design strategy forward by creating innovative user-centered solutions that enhance the product's user experience.
What team will I be working with as a Product Experience Design Manager?
You will collaborate with UX leads, UX designers, content designers, UX researchers, product management, and developers within the Mastercard Checkout Services Product Experience Design team.
What qualifications are needed for this position?
The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in experience design, product savvy, a commitment to quality, critical thinking skills, industry awareness, experience with Design Thinking methodology, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
What tools and technologies are preferred for this role?
Experience using Figma as the primary design tool is required, along with familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud, Sketch, and creating and managing Figma asset libraries. Knowledge of CSS/HTML/JSON is considered a plus.
Is experience in e-commerce checkout necessary for this position?
Yes, an understanding of e-commerce checkout and digital design experiences is essential for this role.
What type of design standards will I be responsible for enforcing?
You will establish and enforce design standards, ensuring that all visual design and user experience (UX) decisions align with these standards to create a cohesive brand experience.
