Requirements

  • Education: Minimum of a Vocational/Technical certificate or Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent University degree preferred.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of relevant professional work experience.
  • Manufacturing experience
  • Supervisory experience
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficient with using Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Stooping, Crouching, Walking, Pulling, Light Lifting (Up to 25 lbs.), Grasping, Hearing, Visual Acuity, Reaching, Pushing, Talking, Standing, Inside Environmental Conditions, Other
  • Mechanical, Electrical or Computer engineering experience
  • Experience partnering with technical workforce
  • Knowledge of time keeping.
  • Experience working with International Standards Organization (ISO), Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) in a supervised environment.
  • Ability to analyze data and knowledgeable in use of analytical tools.
  • May require up to 10% domestic and/or international travel to other locations and sites.
  • Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts, 6pm to 6am or 6am to 6pm, including weekends, on a regular basis required.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for leading production personnel and improving quality metrics in manufacturing environment.
  • Establishes personnel schedules and product lines based on business needs.
  • Drives production operation and personnel to meet production goals.
  • Performs line Gemba walks.
  • Owns Platform audit and compliance readiness, including facilities work orders.
  • Ensure Compliance Wire curriculum are up to date/maintained by Platform needs.
  • Conducts performance reviews and provides input, and addresses disciplinary actions as required.
  • Provides mentoring and guidance to technicians to safely operate, troubleshoot and maintain equipment.
  • Identifies, plans, implements, and facilitates improvements to the quality & efficiency of the manufacturing lines under moderate supervision. Coordinates teams of technicians to facilitate completion of projects.
  • Ensures adherence to current Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Identifies and revises safety, regulatory, equipment and process training documentation.
  • Develops and implements equipment and/or throughput improvements that will improve efficiency, product yield and safety.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
