Do we support remote work?
Yes, this position is full-time remote, allowing you to telecommute from anywhere within the U.S.
What are the working hours for this position?
Employees are required to work full-time, Monday to Friday, with flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during normal business hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm EST.
Is training provided for new hires?
Yes, we offer 2-3 weeks of paid training for new employees.
What qualifications are required for this role?
A High School Diploma or GED, an active medical coding license (such as CPC, CRC, CMC, COC, or CCS), and at least 6 months of E&M Medical Coder experience are required.
What kind of coding responsibilities will I have?
You will be responsible for assigning CPT and ICD-10 codes, abstracting data during the Chart Review process, maintaining records of coded charts, providing feedback to providers, and keeping your coding knowledge up to date.
How does the compensation for this position work?
The hourly pay for this role ranges from $19.86 to $38.85, based on factors such as local labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications.
