  • You will be an autonomous, independent practitioner within a small but dynamic team, and as this post involves working across a wide geographical area access to transport for work purposes is essential.
  • In addition, the post holder will support the team in the future transformation of Community Mental Health Services.

Responsibilities

  • - Join the Wirral Mental Health Single Point of Access Service.
  • - Be part of a dynamic assessment and signposting service for all new referrals into secondary care mental health services.
  • - Work within the service operating hours of 8am-6pm, Monday to Friday, across the Wirral.
  • - Demonstrate high level of clinical skills and experience of working within Mental Health at least to a band 5 level.
  • - Deliver quality care with excellent communication and person-centred skills.
  • - Engage in report writing and assess complex patients.
  • - Function as an autonomous, independent practitioner within a small but dynamic team.
  • - Support the team in the future transformation of Community Mental Health Services.
  • - Embrace new ideas and consolidate existing mental health experience.
