Responsibilities

  • The Enterprise Architect will be responsible for setting up a Mobile Center of Excellence (CoE) and aligning with backend teams on the enterprise roadmap.
  • This role requires a strategic problem solver with a deep understanding of mobile technologies, enterprise architecture, and customer collaboration.
  • Define the vision, mission, and goals for the Mobile CoE.
  • Create and enforce standard processes for mobile development, including coding standards, design patterns, and security guidelines.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate mobile technologies, frameworks, and tools. Implement governance processes to ensure compliance with enterprise standards and policies.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for mobile developers to enhance their skills.
  • Work closely with backend teams to ensure seamless integration between mobile applications and backend systems.
  • Align mobile development initiatives with the enterprise roadmap and strategic goals.
  • Supervise the design and implementation of APIs to support mobile applications. Ensure that mobile applications are optimized for performance and scalability. Implement security measures to protect mobile applications and data.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their current state and requirements.
  • Work with customers to understand their rollout map, influencing the schematics of the Mobile CoE.
  • Engage with partners to ensure that mobile solutions meet business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain a mobile technology roadmap that aligns with the overall enterprise architecture.
  • Identify and evaluate emerging mobile technologies and trends to drive innovation.
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and ensure that mobile solutions meet business requirements.
  • Lead and mentor a team of mobile developers and architects. Communicate effectively with team members, including executives, developers, and business units.
  • Provide regular updates on the progress of the Mobile CoE and mobile development initiatives.
