Responsibilities

  • The Multi-Skilled Technician will provide a technical and manual service in maintaining the structure, services, plant and equipment in buildings on behalf of the EMT customer base.
  • They will be responsible for fault finding on a wide range of building, mechanical and electrical, plant and equipment.
  • They will be responsible for ensuring that day-to-day maintenance tasks are recognised and completed within a satisfactory timescale.
  • They will liaise with Healthcare Managers and other staff to provide a safe environment for the care of patients.
  • They will perform work activities that will be complex and or non-routine in a variety of different trades.
  • The post demands a flexible approach to working hours, to cover any potential problems.
  • The Technician must be committed to being versatile and flexible and they will be expected to undergo training in an effort to keep up to date with their specific trades.
