Responsibilities

  • Support the Business Support Services Lead, Delivery Manager and COS in all tasks required to provide a professional service across the Develop Directorate, including ADHOC activities but also the following: Information Technology requirements.
  • Facilities Management activities.
  • Internal Health & Safety activities.
  • Internal Events Management eg: Staff Away Days.
  • Act as a Directorate Security Custodian.
  • Act as a Directorate TAO including non-Travel Cell bookings.
  • Support month end Travel actuals tracking.
  • Lead event travel bookings and arrangements (Ad hoc).
  • ePC (Electronic Procurement Card) Checking Officer or EPC card holder, undertaking the necessary checks against all usage for the Directorate.
  • Undertake CP&F activities in support of the Directorate.
  • Co-ordinate input into the Commercial Pipeline.
  • Accountable for the information processes within the Develop Directorate. Delivering all Information Management aspects across the Directorate, including but not limited to: Maintain the Directorates electronic working areas, including access permissions to ensure they meet business needs and comply with information security policies on MODNET Official and Secret.
  • Identifying and publishing key information on the Directorate SharePoint in support of Policy, Advice, Guidance, and key topics of interest.
  • Work with teams in the Directorate to ensure their Official and Secret sites meet IM Policy, information is being captured correctly and sites are accessible.
  • Coordinate the regular review of electronic records, ensuring that reviews are carried out in accordance with the instruction issued in JSP 441.
  • Support the Senior Information Officer (SIO) with all information assurance activities, compliance checks and returns on MODNET OFFICIAL and Secret.
  • Act as the POC for all Communications & Engagement activities, including but not limited to: Regular updating of the existing Comms & Engagement Tracker and Industry Trackers.
  • Management of the Industry Engagement SharePoint area and Multiuser.
  • Provide support in the planning of industry events such as CNE and DSEI.
  • Arranging and recording of RFI’s, FOI’s and PQ’s.
  • Ad hoc activities in support of the Business Management Team, Delivery Manager and COS as required across all team functions.
  • When required to provide a surge capacity in support of Agile methodologies, in order to accelerate a Develop priority.
