Responsibilities

  • The post holder will take a key role in coordinating and participating in these (pre school) developmental assessments while supporting the children and family through the process.
  • The post holder will participate in the delivery of high standards of care to patients and their families.
  • In particular co-ordinating and participating in the assessment of children with developmental concerns.
  • They will participate in the management of the department when required, ensuring smooth and efficient running in the absence of the Lead or Senior Neurodevelopmental Practitioner.
  • They will take responsibility for their own self-development helping to provide a suitable learning environment and high standards of clinical practice.
  • To recognise own limitations and seek advice and support from senior staff.
  • Assisting and contributing to the management and organisation of the Child Development Centre.
  • Work collaboratively and co-operatively with others to meet the needs of children and their families working autonomously as a member of the Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT).
