Responsibilities

  • Work closely with senior leaders to develop an HR agenda that closely supports the overall goals of the organization. Focus on supply and demand for talent in the organization.
  • Align business objectives with employees and management.
  • Serve as a partner to management on human resource-related issues.
  • Own employee engagement/nurturing for employees in their designated teams.
  • Continually stay abreast of the strengths and development needs of practice professionals to make informed recommendations for attendance at development programs, and on-the-job learning opportunities.
  • Manage performance issues, investigations, employee relations concerns, and project issues and escalate as appropriate.
  • Actively engage in the performance management and compensation processes, including reading/analyzing employee engagement evaluations, logging ratings, assistance with performance assessment meetings and ensuring mid/annual reviews are timely completed for all practice employees.
  • Collaborate with Talent Management to strategically assign practice professionals to client-facing and other roles (internal initiatives, training and faculty, community relations/social responsibility, recruiting, sales efforts, etc.)
  • Team with broad Talent Management team on how to create successful project/office environments (succession planning, rotations, etc.)
  • Investigate and resolve payroll and benefits issues.
  • Manage employee recognition programs and processes.
  • Oversee local new hire integration and follow-up on new employees to ensure a smooth assimilation into Protiviti.
  • Conduct employee exit interviews and document areas for improvement, as well as manage attrition reporting.
  • Assist with employee actions including new hires, transfers, leaves of absence and terminations.
  • Lead efforts and engage practice / operations personnel to plan office events (happy hours, holiday gatherings, community charity events).
  • Participate in broader initiatives to support regional / national initiatives as required.
  • Assist with ad-hoc market leadership requests.
