Responsibilities

  • The post holder will provide a specialist service in complex rehabilitation assessment, advice and treatment for patients, including neuro and complex musculoskeletal trauma injuries in an in-patient environment.
  • You will be supported by a team of physiotherapists and Rehabilitation Assistant Practitioners with full training and support provided to develop your clinical, leadership, teaching and service development skills.
  • You will demonstrate effective communication, prioritisation and organisational skills within a cohesive multidisciplinary team, whilst being responsible for managing a complex clinical caseload from assessment to discharge or transfer of care.
  • You will receive regular supervision and appraisal and will actively be involved in service development, audit, research and implementation of evidence-based practice.
