Requirements

  • To apply for this PI Software Engineer role, you will need an undergraduate degree in IT, Automation, Science or Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • You will also require the following:
  • OSIsoft experience.
  • PI Historian trained and certified.
  • Understanding of the OSI PI system architecture with four-plus years of experience in PI System implementations.
  • Excellent knowledge of SCADA, PLC, OPC, Continuous/Batch Historians, MES systems and DCS-based control systems including network topology concepts.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement highly reliable and large-scale systems with HA collectives and federated designs.
  • Install, configure, validate, and tune PI Servers and interfaces.
  • Implement analytic solutions with PI Asset Framework Analytics, PI ACE, PI Notifications and Performance Equations.
  • Install and tailor client software, including Core sight, Processbook, Datalink and PI Webparts.
  • Work with PLC and DCS-based control systems.
