Responsibilities

  • The post holder will work as a member of the HDFT 0-19 team being responsible for supporting the delivery of the infant feeding offer via virtual infant feeding choices clinics and in-person breast feeding groups.
  • This will be based in Scarborough, providing in-person support for the breast feeding groups in Scarborough and Pickering areas of the East Locality.
  • There will be a requirement to work in the whole of North Yorkshire, to provide cover and support the breast feeding groups North Yorkshire wide.
  • The post holder will provide a high standard of information and support to Children and their families in a range of settings in the community.
  • To support parents, carers, children/young people and their families with low level issues around infant feeding, managing emotional health, or general areas of concern.
  • The post holder will provide a high standard of information and support to Children and their families in a range of settings.
  • The post holder, following appropriate training will work with appropriate supervision and undertake a range of tasks including promoting and supporting breastfeeding and supporting emotional health.
