The Team Leader supports the running of the locality including welfare, performance management, absence management, completion of appraisals, and providing clinical leadership, among other tasks.
Is there an induction program for successful applicants?
Yes, successful applicants will attend a 3-day Team Leader 'Kickstarter' induction. External Paramedic applicants will also need to complete a 2-week induction at one of the training centres.
Are there specific training requirements for external Nurses?
Yes, external Nurses who have not completed a Pre-Hospital Nurse Practitioner (PHNP)/Ambulance Nurse qualification will need to undergo the full PHNP induction program, which includes 18 weeks of clinical training and 4 weeks of driving.
Will accommodation and travel expenses be provided during the training program?
No, accommodation and travel expenses will not be provided, and candidates should consider the costs associated with attending the training.
