Responsibilities

  • We are looking for a motivated Therapy Assistant with a passion for acute care who wishes to enhance their skills to a Band 4 level.
  • The team is looking for a motivated, organised Physiotherapy Assistant Practitioner to support patient care in an in-patient environment.
  • They must show the ability to be flexible within their working day and show initiative with their caseload, being mindful of the wider teams needs and workload.
  • A desire to help people in their hospital journey and recovery is essential whilst ensuring that patients are motivated and safely discharged to their previous place of residence is a key part of this role.
  • Basic IT skills are desirable for administration duties.
  • Recent experience of working in an inpatient care setting and the moving and handling of adults is essential.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills are required along with the ability to motivate and encourage patients with physical needs.
