Responsibilities

  • To work in one of the dedicated pool porter posts in the porters’ roster, providing a comprehensive hospital portering service.

  • The applicant’s activities will include; NHS portering duties transporting adult and child patients within the hospital and at times being alone with the patient.
  • Collecting confidential information as well as specimens, medical equipment, blood products and at times driving the MFT trust vehicles.
