Requirements

  • 3-5 years of operations experience and an in-depth understanding of the Canadian Investment Industry
  • High motivation with good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong focus on attention to detail
  • Sound knowledge of systems/applications and computer technology and strong Excel skills
  • An ability to be highly autonomous, requiring minimal supervision, while demonstrating excellent time management skills to ensure workloads are monitored and prioritized

Responsibilities

  • Provide operational and technical triage support for Team Inbox and monitor and follow-up until completely resolved
  • Run queries/reports to provide support to business partners
  • Review the accuracy system data for statement and client reporting purposes by running various data clean reports and investigating and remediating discrepancies, by reviewing security transactions, cash balances, position reports, pricing etc.
  • Support the monthly Dividend Reinvestment Processing for Scotia and Dynamic Funds
  • Provide back-up support to colleagues within the department by cross-training and covering during heavy volume periods and absences
  • Assist with Pricing, Corporate Actions and Income Payments on PIC and Summit Mpower applications
  • Document and update procedures for new processes introduced on Mpower
  • Prioritize workload, monitor volume of work, keeping the Manager apprised of any concerns, potential problems, assistance required and general status of routine assignments
  • Maintain direct adherence to the company and Bank security policies
  • Perform other duties as assigned
