Responsibilities

  • - Provide a visible clinical profile, having an advisory and clinical input into the development of staff.
  • - Build and promote positive relationships with all stakeholders involved in practice education. Including, but not limited to education centre teams, clinical leads, subject specialists, simulated patients and external partners.
  • - Communicate effectively with staff at all levels in the organisation in non-clinical, clinical and clinical roles including senior leadership teams and medical roles.
  • - Prepare and present practice based education and development to a mixed audience with differing levels of knowledge, presenting ideas in ways that promote understanding, through a variety of media and communication aids.
  • - Work collaboratively with clinical and non-clinical teams to support the development of staff including students, practice educators, preceptors, trainees, and members of the wider multi-professional team.
  • - Continually demonstrates the ability to coordinate, monitor and assess own workload.
