Responsibilities

  • In the entry level, under general supervision, the Pricing Analyst I analyzes and prices a $1B scope of markets using complex data tools and sources.
  • In the intermediate level, the Pricing Analyst II leverages proficiency with pricing tools, processes, systems and revenue management principles to analyze market conditions and competition, and develop advanced pricing solutions within an increasingly complex scope of high profile Alaska Air Group (AAG) markets. This role is also responsible for supporting the analysis and execution of one of our revenue generating fare products (Saver, Premium Class, First Class, Dynamic Pricing, etc.) using BI skills to model and analyze results and make suggestions to drive revenue.
  • In the senior level, as a subject matter expert in pricing, the Pricing Analyst III determines an effective approach to ambiguous business challenges within a complex scope of markets, is accountable to meeting/exceeding unit revenue goals and KPIs, and exercises considerable judgement to make and communicate pricing decisions across the company. This role is also responsible for leading the analysis and execution of one of our revenue generating fare products (Saver, Premium Class, First Class, Dynamic Pricing, etc.) using BI skills to model, analyze and build dashboards used by the pricing team and senior leadership.
