Responsibilities

  • Leading and coaching team members responsible for the procurement process of the firm
  • Sourcing, negotiating and monitoring vendor contracts and purchase agreements in accordance with the firm’s purchasing and contract management instructions, policies, and procedures
  • Leading the roll out a Supplier Code of Conduct and related supplier acknowledgment with a focus on current best practices related to ESG and the Modern Slavery Act
  • Running Request for Proposal process; reviewing, evaluating, and approving specifications for awarding bids
  • Collaborating with other functional groups and coordinating personnel engaged in requesting goods and services in order to enhance spend visibility
  • Contribute to the implementation of new ERP, Microsoft Dynamics, to develop purchasing workflows and approvals in the system with appropriate approval levels
  • Maintaining supplier relationships through regular account reviews
  • Resolving vendor or contractor grievances and disputes and escalation where appropriate
  • Conducting business and negotiations with high level of ethical sensitivity and awareness
