Responsibilities

  • Coordinating the supplier evaluation process and support sourcing recommendations on behalf of the business
  • Facilitating and maintaining effective working relationships with suppliers, engaging with key stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach
  • Supporting and coordinating delivery of procurement projects, contributing to delivery on time and on budget
  • Manage procurement engagement activities including, but not limited to, expressions of interest, requests for information, requests for quotation, requests for proposal, requests for tender, supplier negotiations and contract development and execution
  • Manage the approval, maintenance and close out of purchase orders, ensuring timely payments and delivery
  • Maintaining awareness of the external business environment consisting of but not limited to; economic, political and legal, demographic, social, competitive, global, and technological sectors
  • Establishing and maintaining effective stakeholder relationships across the enterprise, lines of business, and corporate functions to ensure procurement needs and agreed service levels are being achieved
  • Providing management reports as required
