Requirements

  • 6 - 8 years of experience in Product Management, Management Consulting, or Entrepreneurship.
  • Requires a BA/BS in Business, Finance, Economics, Public Health, or Information Technology.
  • Graduate degree (e.g. MBA) is highly desirable.
  • Relative system software knowledge related to business use, capabilities, data structure, workflow, enhancement development, and maintenance to support changing business needs.
  • Strong knowledge of relational database concepts and schemas
  • Knowledge of Agile product development concepts, methodologies, and ceremonies
  • Ability to quickly configure point solutions to meet immediate needs, while working with Product and IT stakeholders on long term solutions

Responsibilities

  • Identify, understand, and develop ongoing key personas for product areas.
  • Exhibits natural and intuitive user empathy.
  • Determine and analyze KPIs at a product level to establish experience success, failures, and next steps through iteration.
  • Conduct secondary market research.
  • Effectively organize and lead brainstorming sessions.
  • Write and breakdown Epics and user stories independently
  • Effectively work within an Agile framework for predictable product outcomes
  • Write detailed user stories and acceptance criteria covering multiple user-types
  • Utilize tools for basic analytics to inform product decisions and show measurable outcomes of product releases
  • Utilize and synthesize qualitative and quantitative data to continuously drive product improvements
  • Work on cross-functional team to translate customer needs and technology directions into product definitions
  • Deliver high-quality experiences to end-users at a feature level
  • Actively participates in trade-off discussions between scope and schedule
  • Identify risks at a feature level and participate in mitigation planning
  • Develop new software product concepts, designs, and/or enhancements to existing product design that reflect market and user requirements
  • Drive trade-off discussions between scope and schedule
  • Perform as a product area SME to educate others of product
