Yes, clearance through the New York State Central Registry and New York State Office of Children and Family Services is required and will be completed by the program once hired.

Specialized skills in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics, Music, Sports, Culinary Education, and Public Speaking are required.
What are the main responsibilities of the Program Assistant?
Main responsibilities include setting program goals, developing activities for children, collaborating with colleagues, maintaining records of children's work, creating a nurturing environment, and ensuring the safety and well-being of children in care.
Will I need to attend training sessions?
Yes, you will need to attend trainings in principles of early childhood development, nutrition and health needs, safety procedures, and child abuse and maltreatment identification and prevention.
