Responsibilities

  • Leads project team through the development of the technical reviews, drawings, and documents -Leads project team in the QA/QC process including code compliance reviews and consultant coordination -Resolve sophisticated design and technical issues with the team to produce technical and constructible solutions. -Main work with contractor and sub-consultants -Manages workflow and production of work by teams and junior staff -Coordinates building systems (structural, mechanical, electrical, etc.) to ensure compatibility with design intent -Masters, applies and aligns with relevant codes, regulations and standards -Utilizes BIM technology in development of 3-dimensional models, documentation, and coordination and actively supports compliance with BIM project standards and procedures -Produces high-quality drawings and documentation sets that reduce rework, errors and omissions -Leads the Construction Administration phase, including the review of RFIs, submittals, and site visits to ensure accuracy -Champions sustainable design principles and applies them to the design and documentation of their projects
  • No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. Provides informal assistance such as technical mentorship, and/or training to coworkers. May lead project teams and/or plan, and supervise assignments of lower level employees.
