Responsibilities

  • Oversee the development of ITS designs and traffic models, including leading, reviewing and providing assurance of ITS design elements ensuring designs are compliant with planning and regulatory requirements
  • Audit technical processes and procedures relating to ITS including the development and initiation of quality standards for tests, inspections, and evaluations
  • Assess project lifecycle costs as part of design management, in collaboration with the commercial and cost management team and provide input into cost reduction exercises
  • Coordinate with the wider team for works in progress including agreeing specifications and standards, construction supervision and testing requirements, and provide recommendations for final acceptance of completed works
