Responsibilities

  • Provide subject matter expertise in areas including project scope definition, risk identification, project methodology, resource allocation, facilitation and other areas of expertise based on established project management techniques
  • Drive execution for development, assessment, and implementation of a portfolio of key business projects, programs and processes to support the UHGP pharmacy business. Central delivery elements include managing project scope, controlling project timelines and resources, ensuring project quality, assessing & managing project risks, and managing project relationships and communications
  • Leverage project tools (e.g. Microsoft Project, PlanView, TeamTrack) and methodologies (e.g. Agile, Waterfall) to drive positive outcomes
  • Participate in the project forecasting and budgeting process as appropriate
  • Produce and maintain project plans and documentation
  • Lead and/or support gathering and development of requirements for project deliverables, including capabilities
  • Ensure core project deliverables and processes remain on track and ultimately meet all project requirements
  • Actively identify, prioritize, communicate and manage risks across projects
  • Communicate project progress / status to stakeholders and leadership (as appropriate) throughout the project lifecycle
  • Apply an analytical approach and techniques to problem solving for pharmacy project / program management, and PBM projects and process enhancements
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and with intersegment partners, including OptumRx, to ensure end-to-end solutions meet regulatory, compliance, audit, and pharmacy business objectives
