What is the location of the Prototype Strategy and Planning Manager position?
The position is based full time onsite at our New Model Program Plant in Campbellfield, Victoria.
What are the main responsibilities of the Prototype Strategy and Planning Manager?
The main responsibilities include managing the 40-week prototype planning processes, overseeing build planning and execution, managing resource allocation, overseeing vehicle assembly process engineering, developing and executing quality control plans, ensuring cross-functional alignment, managing the New Model Program budget, and fostering a high-performing team.
What qualifications are required for this position?
A Bachelor’s degree in engineering and a minimum of 8 years of experience as a Project Manager are required. Automotive experience is beneficial.
Is prior automotive experience mandatory for this role?
While prior automotive experience is beneficial, it is not mandatory. We encourage applicants with relevant experience from other industries as well.
What type of team will I be leading?
You will be leading a team of engineers involved in the assembly of pre-production prototype vehicles for testing and validation.
What are the operating hours of the plant?
The plant hours of operation are from 7:00 am until 3:30 pm.
