What qualifications are required for this role?
The postholder is expected to have advanced qualifications and experience in delivering Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

What therapeutic services will the postholder be providing?
The postholder will provide qualified psychological therapy services, including either CBT or EMDR, along with enhanced specialist psychological assessment and therapy.
Will I be working alone or as part of a team?
You will be working collaboratively with a team that includes a band 7 psychological practitioner, assistant psychologists, and a band 8B Principal Clinical Psychologist, as well as other psychological practitioners in the wider Bay psychological professions network.
What is the expectation concerning service development in this role?
The postholder will take a lead role in service development, including developing sustainable training and supervision programs for staff wishing to enhance their CBT and EMDR skills within secondary care teams.
