Requirements

  • Must-have An undergraduate degree in computer science, math-based science/engineering discipline, or technical/analytical discipline focused on development, business analysis, and/or project management
  • In-depth programming knowledge in Python, Java, C#, and/or C/C++, and experience developing applications within a UNIX/Linux or Windows based environment
  • Strong understanding of and practical experience in applying technology to address diverse problems, as well as a passion for technology and programming
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Confidence in working with senior and executive level staff, with the ability to manage multiple priorities across a number of assignments
  • Graduated as of January 2024 – target start date: July 2024

Responsibilities

  • Be placed in varying roles throughout the program term, undertaking a variety of responsibilities in each role
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of Capital Markets - a Premier Investment Bank that provides a focused set of products and services to institutions, corporations, governments and high net worth clients around the world.
  • Work on collaborative solutions with teams in the areas of Foreign Exchange, Fixed Income, Equities and Derivatives trading.
  • Apply advanced technology solutions to rapidly evolving and complex business opportunities and work very closely with the clients that we service to bring new systems rapidly to market.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the business on how to exploit technology opportunities
  • Learn and apply a wide variety of technologies, including real time messaging and middleware, service orientated architectures, complex event processing, cloud computing, open source libraries, and time series databases
  • Through this program you are able to pursue an opportunity where you could develop project management, critical thinking, and strategy skills.
