Responsibilities

  • Participates in ensuring IT quality assurance strategy, processes, and deliverables are achieved for projects, adhering to quality assurance best practices.
  • Execute comprehensive automated and manual functional testing based on analysis and understanding of the requirement and deployment environment. Verifies those test results through analysis of user interfaces, database, printed output and data transmissions.
  • Participate in daily standup, sprint planning.
  • Provides estimates for QA work to include test scenario design/review, test case design and automation, test execution, and defect remediation.
  • Participates in writing and maintaining test automation, adhering to best practices and coding standards. Focuses on automation test pyramid and automating at lower levels of the system.
  • Help establish automation best practices and drives adoption.
  • Identifies defects and tracks to closure including root cause and resolution.
  • Participates in conducting peer reviews of test artifacts.
  • Performs and maintains regression testing.
  • Devises improvements to current procedures and develops models of possible future configurations.
  • Maintains and develops business knowledge and customer relationships.
