Responsibilities

  • Actioning requests for the disclosure of information from Royal Air Force records of former/current RAF service personnel in accordance with DPA 18, Access to Health Records Act 1990 (AHRA), AP7004, FOIA2000 and JSP 441.
  • Collating data from data owners, making appropriate searches (internally and externally).
  • Monitoring the progress of allocated cases on ecase taking hastening action when required.
  • Raise and despatch accurate disclosure in accordance with MOD guidelines.
  • Ensure complex, sensitive, or contentious cases are referred to line management promptly.
  • The vast majority of duties are computer based; therefore, applicants must be computer literate and proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
