Responsibilities

  • Visitor management - welcoming staff and visitors (including contractors) to the Institute following agreed procedures (allocation of building passes, keys desk or workspace and wayfinding, as required).
  • Programming and updating the building access cards, as required.
  • Handling telephone, digital and face-to-face enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner.
  • Processing bookings and enquiries for the flagship meeting rooms, event spaces and other areas, to agreed procedures.
  • General "housekeeping" duties to ensure the reception, foyer and coffee machine area is kept clean and tidy.
  • Assisting event / meeting organisers (internal) to ensure their events run smoothly (supporting the booking process, catering recommendations, building communications, and wayfinding etc).
  • Providing the facilities team with general facilities and health and safety support; routine front-of-house service tasks, evacuation procedures and drills, fault reporting etc.
  • Disseminating information about CISL, health and safety and the building to staff and visitors.
